Containers
For containers including tincture bottles, caps and droppers; tea bags – muslin and paper; salve tins; atomizers; plastic lotion bottles; and glass jars with lids, I have used Container and Packaging Supply, Rose Mountain Herbs, Jean’s Greens, and Burch Bottle and Packaging.
Jeans Greens is the only place I could find the body powder shakers. I wish Rose Mountain’s website were more user-friendly; yet I love how my herbs are packaged in green packing paper with a friendly little Thank You sticker inside the box flap.
I found the coolest push-up cardboard containers with a double waxed interior for hot-fill items (no BPA or plastic!) that I want to use for the solid body lotion I’ve been making. I’ve been making them as bars but they get really messy at the end since ingredients melt on skin contact, so a container would be awesome to contain the product and keep quality unspoiled until the very last drop. SKS will be carrying these in the first quarter of 2014, or if you would use 1000 or more, there are two distribution companies you could use.
