Festive Cookies
Best sugar-free and wheat-free sit-ins for traditional holiday cookie plate. Once I gathered all the ingredients (see shopping list below), I was able to assemble all recipes in about an hour and a half. I got four well-stocked plates out of it, like this one:

Coconut Candies
Ashwaganda-Chaga ‘Fudge’
- 1 stick of Kerry Gold or organic grass-fed unsalted butter (or ghee if you are sensitive to casein)
- 1 ounce Chaga, powdered finely
- 1 1/2 ounce Ashwaganda, powdered
- 2-3 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Mix together and press into a 8″x8″ square pan. Press finely chopped nuts into the surface. Cut with knife dipped in water.
Cocoa-Almond Puff-Truffles
(based on Energy Balls:)
- 4 C Almond butter (2 crunchy, 2 smooth)
- 1 C Carob powder
- ¼ C Molasses
- ½ C Honey
- 2 tsp Ashwaghanda, powdered
- 2 tsp Astragulus, powdered
- 2 tsp Reishi, powdered
- 1 tsp Chaga, powdered
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cardamom, ground
- Pinch of Cloves, ground
- Pinch of Cinnamon, ground
Mix all, will be very stiff. Roll each ball in 2 tablespoons unsweetened coconut flakes.
