Tea Formulation: blending tea for flavor can be tricky when you also want medicinal punch. Karina shows some common pitfalls for blending teas that will be helpfully healthful as well as deliciously drinkable.

I team up with Karina Hines again at her place in Waltham (featuring SegoDesigned terrace gardens) for a mixing workshop class covering all sorts of blending: with salts, spices, butters and teas. On Saturday, from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Karina will host us for a 2-hour workshop where we will cover some botanical information, a lot of blending instruction and tastings, and a lot of play. This is a hands-on workshop where you’ll take home a self-crafted salt and spice blend.
