$75 per person: 3-hour class with plant walk, teas, juice, tonic, vibrant spring salads lunch

Spring plant identification: walk through Botanical Kitchen’s edible landscape abundant with wild and cultivated, culinary and medicinal plants. Learn ecological, seasonal plant identification, foraging and harvesting techniques, as well as planting and growing tips.

Taste nature’s bounty: put spring in your step as you learn to make cleansing juices, vibrant teas and tonics. Gain some understanding of the nutritional and medicinal benefits of our local spring plants.

Create vibrant supergreens: watch cooking demo for inspiring salads combinations. Enjoy learning pro chef techniques to inspire new ideas and tricks to add into your spring mix. You get to taste it all plus take home plant information and recipes.

I team up with Karina Hines again at her place in Waltham (featuring SegoDesigned terrace gardens) for a spring traipsing and tasting class covering our local seasonal wild greens. On Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, Karina will host us for a 3-hour class where we will cover plant identification, making teas, juices, tonics and salads using vibrant, cleansing spring plants. I love this time of year and can’t wait to share these harbingers of spring with you.
